Career Readiness Certificate
An Idea Whose Time Has Come!
Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) is a portable
skills credential that gives employers and career seekers
a uniform, standard, objective measure
of key workplace skills. It CERTIFIES
that a person has workplace skills that are transferrable
between industry sectors and across jobs within a sector.
The CRC is issued at three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold,
and in some states, a PLatinum level is also available.
CRC is being used by job seekers across the country as an
employment credential, and by
employers as an assessment of a person's trainability
for a job or for a promotion within the company.
CRC is based on three WorkKeys™
assessments: Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and
Reading for Information. For CRC information for your location,
get in touch with the person listed as your CRC representative
on the Contact Information page.
